Steve Clevenger, LPC

Life can bring unexpected challenges, heavy burdens, and moments where finding the path forward feels overwhelming. Taking the first step toward therapy is a courageous decision, and you don't have to navigate it alone. I am dedicated to providing a compassionate, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can process your experiences, regain clarity, and build a hope-filled future.

Therapeutic Approach

My practice integrates faith-based Christian perspectives with evidence-based psychological therapies. With over 40 years of pastoral counseling experience and licensed in professional counseling since 2015, I utilize an integrative, client-centered approach tailored to your specific needs. Together, we will examine the root causes of your struggles while developing practical solutions and coping strategies to foster emotional resilience and mental well-being.

Areas of Focus & Specializations
I partner with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating a wide range of life challenges, including:

Anxiety & Depression: Overcoming persistent worry, low mood, and emotional exhaustion.

Trauma & Grief Processing: Healing from emotional wounds, physical trauma, loss, and difficult life transitions.

Young Adult Guidance: Navigating college or career decisions, self-discovery, and building healthy relationships.

Adult Life Transitions: Managing regrets, family stressors, parenting, and caring for aging parents.

Self-Esteem & Personal Growth: Cultivating self-worth, emotional insight, and healthy boundaries.

What to Expect in Therapy
Therapy is a collaborative partnership. Through active, empathetic listening, I offer a secure environment where your voice is heard and valued. Together, we will set achievable, meaningful goals that empower you to heal and thrive.
It is completely natural to feel nervous before your initial session. Our first meeting is a welcoming, low-pressure opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to counseling, and outline a tailored path forward.
