Get to Know Kristy Walker

Kristy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned her master's degree at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work in 2001. She has been working in the mental health field since 1999.

Kristy has a background in individual, couples, family and group counseling. Her typical clientele includes those struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief/loss, couple's issues, family conflict and spiritual issues.

She has experience working with the school system providing mental health services, serving as a clinical supervisor for a team of in-home therapists, worked in local psychiatric hospital and provided end of life education/support to patients and their families who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Kristy has provided grief groups, divorce groups, pastor wives support groups and behavior management groups. She has worked for Dayspring Center for Chrisitan Counseling since May 2007.
