Extended Hours
Dayspring is now offering extended hours of 5-7 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We also are open on Fridays from 8am-12pm. We can offer Telehealth or in-person services. Our phone, 256-878-3809, is answered Mon-Thur 8-5, Fri 8-12.
Alabama Law Change for Minors
For the current Alabama law concerning the age of consent for teens who want counseling - the legal age of consent is changing from 14 to 16 on October 1st. Anyone age 16 and older can obtain mental health services without their parents’ consent or knowledge. Dayspring will respect this change and all minors below the age of 16 will need their parents’ consent to obtain counseling services.
Dayspring’s new COMPASSION Program is here!
We are looking forward to talking with each church in our area to explain how Dayspring wants to give back to them. Dayspring has counseling for individuals, married couples, premarital, and families, from ages 10-up.

All monetary donations are tax deductible for you.
Our mission is to help hurting souls.
Please consider being a donor and helping us to pay it forward by helping others.
Big SHOUTOUT to Citizen’s Bank and Trust for their generosity!
Thank you to our partner churches- Mount Vernon Church, The Fellowship Church, Beulah Baptist, Grace Fellowship Presbyterian, and Brashier’s Chapel for contributing to Dayspring!
Because of their generosity we are able to provide discounted counseling services to women who are staying at the local women’s shelter Kelly’s Rainbow, and to women who are in the residential program Handfuls of Purpose.
At Dayspring we have limited office hours, but we want everyone to have access to mental health care at any hour that it is needed. If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available.
